Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of northstarquail.com (the “Site”) and your purchases from NorthStar Quail LLC (“NorthStar Quail,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products

NorthStar Quail sells frozen Coturnix quail and related products for animal feeding (e.g., falconry, raptor care, zoos, reptile keepers) and other lawful uses. Product descriptions, weights, and pricing are provided on the Site and may change without notice.

2. Orders & Pricing

• Prices are listed per box and are all-inclusive of birds, dry-ice packaging, and shipping unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (e.g., pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock limits). If we cancel an order you've paid for, we will refund it.

3. Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting an order, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the order total.

4. Shipping & Perishable Goods

• Products are perishable and shipped frozen with dry ice. You are responsible for providing an accurate, deliverable address and for receiving the shipment promptly on arrival.
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery by the carrier. Shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

5. Returns & Refunds

Because products are perishable, we do not accept returns. If your order arrives with a problem, please report it within 24 hours of arrival at kevin@northstarquail.com. Our birds are guaranteed usable or replaced free — we will send a replacement (or issue a refund where appropriate) for any order that arrives unusable.

6. SMS / Communications

If you opt in to text messages, our SMS terms and the handling of your information are described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our SMS Opt-In page for details.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Site and products are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. NorthStar Quail is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products, except where prohibited by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; changes take effect when posted with an updated Effective Date.
